課程概述 |
本課程為提供與訓練同學基礎的社會理論思維，對國家、社會、全球發展的脈絡與學
派進行深入硏讀與討論。課程的重點在於從基本的社會理論方法觀點，發展同學對現代國
家、社會與經濟之變遷（change）、形構（formation）與轉型（transformation）的理論
輪廓，並延伸思考在當代全球化脈絡下這些解釋與批判社會、經濟理論的效力。課程的設
計包括了古典的社會經濟理論、現代化理論、依賴理論、殖民政治、冷戰秩序、新自由主
義、全球互賴體系、東亞發展等。在這些思維中主要的爭辯脈絡可包括如下：
第一、現代國家與社會秩序建構之發生學思維為何？亦即，現代國家與社會秩序的研究建
構與發展觀點、方法與模式為何？
第二、現代社會中的市場秩序、生產模式、社會分工、理性化模式之初始觀察為何？
第三、現代社會經濟與全球生產結構下，國家與社會的角色為何？市場的自主性與國家的
介入問題？
第四、國家應該國際化，融入全球市場，還是獨立自主、自力更生？依賴與自主間要如何
妥協？
第五、經濟價值與其他價值間的衝突要如何妥協？經濟發展相較於其他價值的重要性，要
如何衡量？
第六、穩定與進步的衝突，要如何調解？民主、法治、自由、人權與秩序、合諧、團結間
要如何取捨？

課程要求 |
上課方式：
本課程有教學網頁，請同學隨時注意最新消息。
上課以討論方式進行。各組輪流報告，同學必須熟讀資料，上課參與討論。
除教科書外，各主題有相應的『基本文章』及『進階文章』，請同學依自己情況選讀資
料。
每週撰寫課前作業，提出讀後心得或不同觀點，張貼於課程網頁之討論看版。可針對其他
同學的作業，提出自己的觀點，亦可另開啟新的討論議題。
成績評定：
討論看板上與繳交的作業（reflection）、上課的思辨與討論表現為平時成績，佔百分之
五十。期末考佔百分之五十。
